Panda
Panda (Freelands Gypsy Noelle)
Panda was born on December 24, 2012 in El Dorado, Arizona, and moved to California when she was 11 months old. She joined the Tashunka herd in the fall of 2020, and has been a great addition to the program. We’ve been slowly introducing her into the lesson and show program, as well as taking her for a camping and trail riding trips. Her friendly demeanor and quarky behavior have made her a hit at the barn.
Fun Facts......

- Despite her name, she does not eat bamboo.
The Gypsy Vanner
The Gypsy Vanner traces it roots to Great Britain, and has been selectively bred for its temperament, size, and ability. Gypsys have strong genetic links to the pony breeds of Britain, as well as the Clydesdale and Shire breeds. As a breed, they weren’t introduced into the United States until 1996. For more information on the Gypsy Vanner breed, check out the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society website.
