Roo
Roo (Catori De Tashunka)
Catori de Tashunka, more commonly known as Roo, is an 11 year old bay roan mustang mare. Roo was adopted at 6 months old from Palomino Valley Wild Horse and Burro as a part of the 2011 Supreme Extreme Mustang Makeover in Fort Worth Texas. After competing in Texas, Roo returned to Washington and spent a year growing and playing. While Roo grew rapidly in the physical sense she has been slower to mature and still has a spunky side. You might notice that Roo frequently has her tail wrapped up in a bun. This is because Roo her favorite snack is her and her friends’ tails. We keep her tail wrapped so she can not eat it. Roo has been shown in Pinto shows, 4-H and local shows since she was 3. Roo has earned a bronze, a silver, and two gold medals in showmanship and has earned a spot on the Snohomish County 4-H Horse Program state team in showmanship. Roo has experience with trail riding and ground driving.Â
Roo loves to express her feelings about working, but she also loves to show off her tricks and get attention. Roos favorite “trick” is to present you with her rear end hoping you will scratch it for her. Roo also gives hugs, kisses and shows off her chivalrous side by bowing to you. It has been a pleasure to have had Roo while she has grown up and we are looking forward to a lifetime’s worth of her charm..
Fun Facts.....

We can’t say for sure which Herd Managment Area Roo came from, but we believe she came from the Beatys Butte HMA in Oregon. Check out the link if you would like more information on the Beatys Butte HMA.
