The Arabian Horse
The Arabian breed of horse originated on the Arabian Peninsula, with evidence including rock paintings and inscriptions dating back 3,500 years. The breed typically has very distinct features, such as a concave head just below the eyes, arching neck, and high tail carriage. Although the Arabian is considered one of the most beautiful breeds, looks aren’t everything. This breed is also known as a great family horse, versatile show horse, outstandng Endurance horse, and even a working ranch horse. For more information on the Arabian Horse, check out the Arabian Horse Association website.
